Clover was not only the foundation of Foxfire, she was the heart of it. Born in Utah and bred by Leah at Windkist, our lovely 13" matriarch was a five-time Best Puppy in Show winner, finishing her championship in just a few weekends in 2018 and earning her Grand Championship in only three shows in 2019.

Beyond being a beautiful example of the Beagle breed, Clover was an enthusiastic SDDA scent detection competitor and a dog who approached life with unmatched determination and personality. During her time with us, she gave us two daughters, ILY and Blossom, and her influence continues through her daughters, granddaughter (Our Sugarbee and Lollipop)  and great-granddaughters who carry her qualities forward.

There was truly no one else like her. Clover was a mastermind, hilariously goofy, wonderfully cheeky, and perhaps the most unapologetically self-serving Beagle I've ever owned. She filled our lives with laughter, kept us on our toes, and somehow always managed to get exactly what she wanted. I miss her every day, but her presence remains all around us. I see her still, not standing in the yard herself, but living on in the generations she left behind. Her legacy is woven throughout Foxfire, and a piece of her will always be found in the dogs that follow.
